The 1470nm wavelength is optimally absorbed by intracellular water in the dermis — the primary chromophore for tissue tightening. This creates precise, controlled heating at the dermal level.

Controlled thermal energy causes initial collagen fiber contraction, producing visible tightening within the first treatment session. The tissue contracts as collagen fibers shorten.
